Carpet Cleaning
No other item in your home
absorbs more wear and tear on a daily basis than your carpet, and no
other item can impact your home's appearance like your carpet can.
ServiceMaster of Vancouver has over 35 years of experience in the carpet
cleaning industry. Our reputation for quality, service, professionalism,
and customer satisfaction is unparalleled.
ServiceMaster of Vancouver
has the equipment and expertise to effectively remove dirt and the
cleaning solutions used to clean carpets. We realize that improper
cleaning procedures can void your carpet warranty, so rest assured our
methods are safe. Why take a chance with rented equipment that can leave
the carpet too wet - promoting mold and fungal buildup - or that leaves
detergent behind? Instead, enjoy beautiful results and avoid the
headaches of potentially damaging approaches.
Carpets should be professionally cleaned every six months to a year. A
professional cleaning service has the equipment and expertise to fully
remove dirt and detergent, and will remove most of the moisture in your
carpet. Consumers using rented equipment often leave the carpet too wet,
causing mold and fungal buildup, or they do not fully remove the
detergent. Our professionals are committed to providing quality
carpet cleaning services. Our procedures follow:
Walk Through: We inspect the areas to be cleaned, noting any
areas that will need pre-treatment.
Fiber Test: We test carpet fibers, to insure that we use
the best cleaning method for your carpet.
Vacuum: We thoroughly vacuum the carpet, including crevices,
to remove any loose soil.
Pre-Spot: We pre-treat spots as needed.
Apply Surfactant Based on Fiber Type: We apply a
surfactant to suspend soil in the carpet.
Extract Using Truck Mounted Hot Water Extraction: We
rinse and extract with clear water to ensure
that all cleaning solution and soil are removed along with the rinse
water, leaving a clean, residue-free carpet.
Post Spot: We retreat spots and
stains when necessary.
Groom Carpets: We rake the carpet
after cleaning to align fibers for an even appearance. We place
blocks or foil pads under furniture legs to protect carpet during the
drying process.
Upholstery Cleaning
The professionals at
ServiceMaster of Vancouver specialize in professional upholstery
cleaning. Having your upholstery professionally maintained will save you
a great deal of money otherwise spent on expensive replacement, and will
also maintain its appearance.
Our professionals are committed to providing professional
upholstery cleaning procedures as specified by fiber manufacturers. Here
are the procedures we follow:
Pre Inspection:
We groom body contact areas to improve vacuum cleaning efficiency. We
use a high-power vacuum to clean and remove loose grit and soil
(including crevices). We pre-treat spots and stains.
Cleaning Steps:
We pre-spray the body-contact areas to accelerate soil release before
the rinse extraction step. We rinse-extract fabric using high
performance extraction equipment.
Post Cleaning
Steps: We
remove loosened soil residues and excess moisture with absorption pads.
We clean and polish trim as required. We post treat spots and stains. We
groom to set fabric for efficient drying and uniform appearance. We
inspect all areas.
1. Pre-test each piece of
upholstery to determine the best cleaning method. Both wet and dry
cleaning services are available.
2. Pre-groom contact areas. This helps loosen dirt and improves vacuum
cleaning efficiency.
3. Pre-vacuum. We will thoroughly vacuum the entire piece of upholstery,
including crevices, to remove dry, loose soil.
4. Pre-treat spots and stains when required.
5. Pre-apply cleaning solution. This allows it time to work on the soil.
We solvent "dry-clean" using soil absorbent pads. We shampoo clean using
soil absorbent pads with a non-resoiling shampoo solution.
6. Rinse extract with clear water. Apply clear water to the fabric, then
extract the water along with the loosened soil and the cleaning
solution, leaving the fabric free of residue. This helps the upholstery
stay cleaner longer.
7. Post treat spots and stains as needed.
Groom upholstery. A soft brush is used to align the fabric.
